I love star wars.
I have all the audio books, will have all the dvs movies soon, play like 3 star wars type games/muds, and think anakin skywalker is super sexy before he decided to go dark side on me.
sigh

I love Star Wars!
All the books 'cept 'The Phantom Menace' are crap though. I've seen 'A New Hope', and I want to see the other two. (I saw it in DVS, too, which was super cool.)
I don't play Star Wars muds to much though - I don't like the people on most of them D:.
But yes, I am a big Star Wars fan.

I first saw the first starwars and it was boring But when DVS came out, it opened my eyes to it. I personally enjoy the books but the sound effects in the movies are amazing.

Yeah, I started seeing one of the movies without DVS and couldn't figure out what the hey was going on, then with DVS it was much cooler.
and yes, the sound effects are pretty cool, but I've heard the graffics are crap.
Oh well. That's why I like watching DVS - graffics don't matter to me. :)

mehhh, the graphics are not crap, the first time I watched starwars was when I was six, and have been in love with it ever since, I have the triology on tape, but my VCR eats tapes, and now I have all six on DVD. I have enough vision where I don't need to watch them on DV. I heart Luke, don't ask me why I just do. I'm trying to talk my dad into etting me one of those toy light sabers, just because I want one, I had two before, the only sad thing was that they were both the green, so it was a little odd. I wish I could still find my star wars action figures, but I know I won't be able too. and now I'm on the hunt for star wars posters, and I have the black star wars hat, but i don't know where it is right now. sigh, I'll find it eventually.

LOL. Personally, I think Luke is kinda stupid. *giggle* I think $2-D2 is funny, though. And C-3PO, too. I want to see the rest of the trilogy, and I want to see the first pri-trilogy thing too, but I haven't seen either yet.
I met the guy who voice-acted Luke Skywalker (dunno what movie, though). Well, not in person, but he was presenting the awards at a ceremony I attended this year. It was really interesting. D:

I love the original three movies. I knew about them growing up, but didn't actually see them until they got rereleased in the 90's. Seeing them in the theater, with the surround sound, was great. Those movies have one of the best musical scores I've heard. Go John Williams.

I was excited when the new movies came out, but unfortunately, was incredibly disappointed. Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones were both terrible! The only one worth its salt in that trilogy was Revenge of the Syth. Hayden Christiansen, who played Aniken, still couldn't act, but at least the movie was good.

I haven't read any of the books, so I think I might have to try them out. Any recommendations, guys?

yeah the new movies were awful compared to the originals, wow there are so many books out there!
um...
dark forces the triledgy, the audio verssions of the original movies are awesome, i have all of them and i havent got bored. if you thought the new movies were bad, i suggest reading the books, a hell of a lot better!
